Job Description SummaryThe Technical Advisor service will manage construction activities at customer sites. Responsibilities include directing site crews, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring technical execution aligns with project goals and company policies. This role requires significant autonomy, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience in complex site environments.Job DescriptionWhat You'll DoOperational Excellence: Plan project activities, allocate resources, and ensure all site documentation and technical procedures are current and accessible.Safety Leadership: Champion EHS guidelines and conduct risk assessments. You hold the authority to pause or stop work if safety or quality standards are compromised.Technical Oversight: Perform in-process rewind tests (e.g., high potential, surge, stator core loop, insulation resistance) and conduct fault investigations.Client & Team Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the customer and subcontractors. Provide on-the-job training, manage team performance, and foster a culture of safety and discipline.Business Support: Participate in pre-bid job walks, assist in developing cost estimates for proposals, and track project risks to minimize additional expenditures.Basic QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of prior hydroelectric generator experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the theory and application of repair/replacement practices for mechanical equipment and heavy industrial machinery used in hydroelectric facilities.Facility Knowledge: Familiarity with the principles and practices of maintaining multi-purpose hydroelectric generating facilities, including dams, powerhouses, and gate/valve houses.Safety/Operations: Knowledge of safe operation practices for heavy construction equipment.Software Skills: Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.Desired QualificationsCommunication: Exceptional verbal and written communic
