Lead complex litigation strategy - review lawsuits, coordinate with legal teams, and drive resolution plans that balance risk and business impact. Collaborate cross-functionally - work closely with Underwriting, Reinsurance, Legal, and other internal partners to ensure alignment and optimal outcomes. Mentor and influence - share your knowledge with peers, guide junior staff, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay ahead of the curve - monitor legislative and industry trends, and help shape claims policies and procedures accordingly. What the ideal candidate will bring: Proven experience handling complex commercial casualty claims, including litigation and coverage analysis. Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage external counsel and internal stakeholders effectively. A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring others. Deep understanding of insurance regulations, legal trends, and industry best practices. There is a strong preference for the selected candidate to live within 50-mile radius of one of the listed Hub Offices and have the ability to come into the office two times a month.
