Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Application Engineer to support the technical sales strategy and lead the technical evaluation of conventional nuclear controls upgrade opportunities, contributing to growth of orders and opportunity pipeline for nuclear controls in GE Vernova's Software & Control Solutions business. This role is responsible for the detailed technical review of customer specifications, requests for proposals, and supporting the definition of standardized offerings for nuclear controls upgrades for non-safety related applications in steam turbine, balance of plant, and generator controls.Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Support pre-sales technical discussions with customers for strategic deal development; providing technical insight on GEV products and services for nuclear controls, collecting voice of customer, responding to technical inquiries on GEV submitted proposals, conducting site surveys of existing systems, presenting case studies/demos/product solutions at industry user conferences, and providing feedback to the business's commercial and product management organizations on control solutions that meet the customer needs in the nuclear market. Actively listen, understand, and interpret customers' business goals, operating objectives, and control system risks, and customize GE Vernova SCS solutions to best meet their needs. Research and understand competitors' regional value propositions and go to market approaches and support development of winning sales and solutions strategies.
