Together, we have the energy to change the world.The Manager, Energy Market Research & Power Economics will report to the Executive Director of Market Analytics & Business Intelligence within the Corporate Strategy & Market Analytics organization. In this role, you will provide enterprise-level market intelligence, power economics analysis, and strategic insight to inform GE Vernova's long-term strategy, investment priorities, and market positioning. You will partner with corporate and business unit leaders to identify emerging market opportunities, assess risks, and translate complex energy market dynamics into clear, actionable recommendations.Job DescriptionYour RoleLead analysis of global and regional energy market trends, including the strategic implications of market shifts, technology adoption, policy changes, and evolving customer needs.Develop and maintain enterprise market intelligence and GE Vernova's House View to support strategic planning, portfolio decisions, and business growth priorities.Assess long-term energy demand and supply trends, electrification growth drivers, energy security considerations, and power system resilience needs.Partner with forecasting teams to align market assumptions, scenarios, and outlooks across regions and business units.Analyze power market dynamics, electricity pricing trends, and the techno-economic competitiveness of generation, grid, and storage technologies.Evaluate the impact of policy, regulation, market design, and investment signals on energy infrastructure decisions and technology adoption.Assess market opportunities and potential disruption from emerging technologies, business models, and strategic adjacencies in collaboration with Strategy, Ventures, and Advanced Research teams.P
