The opportunityHitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity as a Market Manager High Voltage . In this role you will be leading the local business unit in the United Kingdom from commercial development to market positioning.You will report to the Demand Marketing & Sales Manager Northern Europe (High Voltage Products) and lead a cross-functional team of sales, tendering, and support professionals across the UK (typically 15-25 people, direct and indirect).You will have accountability for the overall business performance in the UK market, including order intake, profitability, and market share, with full ownership of the P&L.Please note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship on this position (including graduate visa).How you'll make an impactRecruit, coach and mentor sales managers and related team members, fostering growth and accountability.Define and implement the UK sales market strategy aligned with our European Hub objectives.Own and manage the UK High Voltage business group, P&L, including order intake, revenue, margin, and cash performance.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.Identify and develop key market segments (TSOs, DNOs, EPCs, data centres, renewables) and drive growth.Promote the full High Voltage portfolio (GIS, AIS, LTB, Hybrid, Power Quality, EconiQ solutions).Own key customer relationships, lead complex sales processes, including pricing and contractual negotiations.Coordinate with sales, tendering, project management, and factories to ensure alignment.Your background Extensive experience in High Voltage = business, sales, or market management desired. Sales Management experience within the Energy sector required. Degree in Engineering or a related technical field required. Proven experience in leading sales and tendering teams and business units within cross-functional organisations.
