About the role: Samsara is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II to join our Developer Experience team within the larger Developer Experience organization. We are responsible for the ‘outer-loop’ of the SDLC, with a dotted line to our sister team Dev Agents, who is responsible for the ‘inner-loop’. We are building an AI-enabled software factory that transforms how Samsara moves code from pull request to production. We use AI to eliminate repetitive steps, shorten feedback loops, and help engineers spend more time on ensuring intent. Our systems provide AI-assisted PR auto-approvals, risk-aware reviews, and automated workflows that help changes become merge-ready. We are extending that intelligence through CI and CD with AI-assisted deployment checks, production validation, and automatic rollbacks.
