Sourcing Specialist, Test Hardware and Equipment

In this role you will directly support SpaceX’s Texas Test Operations team sourcing hardware and equipment that is used to develop, test, and validate launch systems for flight. The McGregor site plays an integral part in enabling SpaceX’s unmatched launch cadence, and you will interface directly with our engineering and operations teams to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets for the site. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work directly with key internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing, delivery schedule, and cost management strategies that support Test equipment availability and commissioning timelines Develop and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships to create strategic sourcing models that optimize the value of products and services Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet targets for the purchasing department for payment terms, cash targets, on time delivery and cost savings Monitor MRP demand signals and execute orders that align to critical part need dates Identify and execute cost reduction projects including planning and coordinating with stakeholders, estimating completion, and providing project updates Oversee advanced quantitative ana
