We are looking for a Product Owner to join a cross-functional Agile team working on complex, large-scale digital products within a global environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring priorities are clear, requirements are well understood, and the team remains focused on delivering the highest-value outcomes. Responsibilities Own, manage, and continuously prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and product objectives. Translate business needs and product goals into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Scrum Masters, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle. Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure stories are sufficiently understood and prepared before development begins. Make day-to-day prioritization decisions and provide clarity when requirements, priorities, or business expectations change. Act as a key point of contact between the development team and business/product stakeholders. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Manage dependencies, risks, and competing priorities across teams and stakeholders. Partner with engineering to understand technical constraints, dependencies, and trade-offs when making product decisions. Maintain visibility of delivery progress and communicate risks, changes, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's product and delivery practices. Requirements Proven experience working as a Product Owner in Agile software development environments. Strong experience with backlog management, prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable work for engineering teams. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to navigate different priorities and expectations. Confidence working directly with technical teams and discussing requirements, dependencies, and trade-offs. Strong decision-making skills and a high level of ownership. Experience working with distributed or global teams. Strong understanding of Agile principles and the software development lifecycle. Advanced English with strong conversational skills, as the role requires frequent interaction with international stakeholders. Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo, Brazil. Nice to Have Experience working in SAFe or other scaled Agile environments. Previous experience with products in payments, financial services, fintech, or other complex transactional environments. Experience working with multiple squads or managing cross-team dependencies. Familiarity with highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
