At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level QA to join our team in Brasil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment. Position Overview As a Mid-Level QA, you will own the end-to-end test strategy and execution, ensuring that each release meets both functional and non-functional requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in automation and testing methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your contributions will play a significant role in driving CI&T's commitment to Collaboration, Innovation & Transformation, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to enhance testing processes. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain test plans, traceability, and entry/exit criteria. Write and execute automated tests, including functional, regression, and exploratory tests. Collaborate with teams on shared test suites, focusing on API tests in Postman and reviewing automation scripts. Integrate and monitor tests within CI/CD pipelines, adopting a shift-left approach. Coordinate with DevOps for test data and environments, managing fixtures and stubs. Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and assist in defect triage. Provide test results and release readiness reports to stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications Must-Have Skills Experience with Playwright/JavaScript automation framework. Experience with JMeter for backend automation. Understanding of the testing pyramid and types: Smoke, UI, API, Regression, Accessibility, etc. Knowledge of metrics, dashboards, and QA reporting tools. Familiarity with Git, SQL, Postman, and Jira/Scrum processes. Basic knowledge of CI/CD and Continuous Validation pipelines. Strong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership. Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or above) and ability to multitask under pressure. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with JMeter for load/performance testing. Ability to configure initial automation projects. Essential Technical Skills Proficiency in Playwright and JavaScript frameworks. Familiarity with JMeter and API testing tools. Understanding of CI/CD tools and processes. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in performance testing and automation project setup.
