These platforms are the long‑term home for our investments capabilities and the main path to move away from legacy Invest systems that still handle a large portion of critical flows today. We expect our senior engineers to be hands‑on with AI tools in their own work, and to help define how AI is used safely and productively in engineering and in products. /p h2 What we have to offer: /h2 ul li p class= wnfdnte strong Own the technical direction of Investments Platforms /strong – the systems that implement Nubank’s investments business model in software (custody, offer, orders, account, settlement and more) and power how we scale investments in Brazil and future markets. /p /li li p class= wnfdnte strong Lead the migration off legacy Invest systems /strong : design and execute strategies to move critical flows into modern Nubank platforms, while we continue operating at scale and meeting regulatory commitments. /p /li li p class= wnfdnte strong Work on a disruptive investments architecture /strong nbsp;– rethinking how investments should be modeled and operated end‑to‑end, rather than just lifting and shifting existing broker or custodian patterns. /p /li li p class= wnfdnte strong Drive AI usage in a high‑impact domain /strong : help define how we use AI in investments – both in the products we ship and in how we design, build and operate platforms. /p /li li p class= wnfdnte strong Collaborate across the platform ecosystem /strong – working closely with other business and technical platforms such as Payments and Banking, and with product squads that consume Investments Platforms. /p /li li p class= wnfdnte strong Global scope with hybrid flexibility /strong : roles are based in Brazil, nbsp;in a hybrid‑first model (office presence during the week plus periodic on‑site collaboration with other locations). /p /li /ul h2 Core Qualifications (What We're Looking For) /h2 ul li p class= wnfdnte 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years working on large‑scale platforms or core systems in highly available, transactional environments (finance, payments, core banking, trading, etc.). /p /li li p class= wnfdnte Proven track record building and operating business platforms that are extensible, multi‑tenant and domain‑agnostic – e.g., custody, payments, banking, risk or similar – with clear contracts for consuming teams. /p /li li p class= wnfdnte Experience leading strategic migrations from legacy to new architectures: co‑existence patterns, strangler approaches, staged rollouts and data migration strategies that keep systems up while flows move off legacy. /p /li li p class= wnfdnte Strong foundation in distributed systems and event‑driven architectures: domain modeling, consistency and resiliency strategies, backpressure,
