The Opportunity The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will provide advanced technical leadership for Snowflake platform engineering initiatives and serve as a key contributor to architecture, automation, operational excellence, platform modernization, and AI enablement initiatives. This role will lead complex engineering initiatives, mentor colleagues, influence platform strategy, and partner across technology organizations to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that accelerate business outcomes and support the organization's long-term data and AI objectives. This candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting infrastructure and platform solutions that enable enterprise data, analytics, and AI services. The role balances availability, security, operational efficiency, scalability, and functional requirements to deliver reliable production services. The engineer will proactively identify and manage risks, ensuring issues are appropriately escalated, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance requirements.
