About the roleThe software on our Ultrasound acoustic cameras is at the core of Distran technology, with focus on high quality, reliability, and real-time performance. Together with the software team, you will help Distran develop and innovate our acoustic cameras and help us further meet our customers' needs.Be part of a Scrum-driven cross-functional agile software teamDevelop high-performance modern C++ and Python codeImplement fast and resource-aware video processing pipelinesDevelop supporting services that empower real-time leak detection and quantificationUnderstand customer requirements and write technical requirementsEnsure the high reliability of the productAutomate, optimize, test, and document systems, processes, and business functionalitiesParticipate in the team effort in code review, testing, documentation, and task organizationYour profileRequirementsThree years or more of experience in software developmentStrong knowledge of modern C++ and PythonComfortable with Linux command line toolsComfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude Code) to accelerate developmentInterested in learning new technology stacks and working in a cross-functional environmentGood to haveExperience with CUDA or other GPU-accelerated computingEmbedded systems experience (e.g. Yocto, cross-compilation, resource-constrained devices)Experience with Qt/QMLMessaging interfaces (e.g. ZMQ)Experience writing pipelines with GStreamerDevOps experience (Docker, Jenkins) LanguagesFluent EnglishThe list of tasks is not exhaustive.
