This role will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with German accounting standards, and supporting the team as we continue to scale.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processingAssist and take ownership with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparationSupport during the statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulationsSupport on implementing ERP system and setting up new projects and flows from scratch onPrepare cash flow statements and monitor cash on handCollaborate cross-functionally to support other departments with financial insightsRequirements:Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field6+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accountingFluent in English, German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plusStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentalityProcess driven and excited about setting up new projects and flows from scratch onExperience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plusKnowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and experience with Oracle Netsuite are a plusWhat We OfferDynamic Environment: The opportunity to work in a start-up environm
