Job Description SummaryThe Configuration Management Engineer is a key contributor to the team responsible for development and maintenance of documentation and data control processes and procedures that support quality program requirements and project delivery requirements for commercial nuclear power plants. The role works on project conventions, guides, administer accounts, product structure support, control & management of design process data with engineering software tools.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesThis role assists Engineering teams to meet assigned configuration management objectives. Responsibilities include:Execute the analysis, design, test, and integration required to define and support configuration management, document management and change control processes for new commercial nuclear reactor plant projectsDrive specification, development, implementation, and operation of assigned CM processes consistent with GEH and regulatory requirementsDevelop in-depth knowledge of the CM processes and tools applied for plants specific projects; coordinate the GEH project CM processes with other organizationsAssist with engineering configuration management implementation activities inside GEH, in partnership with Information Technology (IT) and support CM interface activities at suppliersAssist with coordination of CM processes and tools with those of the major suppliersSupport Engineering and Project Management in planning, assessment, reporting and tracking activities and in preparation of related presentations and reportsWork within a diverse team environment to execute work plans and schedules as applicable for mission successPerform work in compliance with policies and proceduresImplement work plans in accordance with the GEH project requirementsSupport GEH quality requirements, including participation in design reviews and initiating and responding to Corrective ActionsProvide on-time, quality delivery of documentation packages in accordance
