By the time they reach us, many are looking for another option where conventional treatment has fallen short.We are Montu UK, one of the UK's largest medical cannabis clinics, and we are looking for Consultants specialising in Pain Management to join our clinical team.About the roleYou will assess and manage patients exploring cannabis based medicines, making the clinical decision on whether treatment is appropriate and managing their care from there. This is an evolving area of medicine where the evidence base continues to grow, giving you the opportunity to help shape how cannabis based medicines are used within pain management in the UK.You do not need previous experience with cannabis based medicines. We are looking for experienced Pain Management Consultants with sound clinical judgement, an open mind and a genuine interest in improving outcomes for patients with complex chronic pain. We provide comprehensive specialist training, and our multidisciplinary model means you are never working in isolation. Nurses and pharmacists complete pre consultation and follow up prescribing tasks, allowing you to focus on clinical decision making and patient care. What you will be doing:Provide high quality care for patients seeking medical cannabis treatment.Conduct patient consultations, including assessment and ongoing management.Engage in clinical outcome data collection to support evidence based practices.Contribute to clinical governance and maintain robust patient care standards.Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and pharmacists.Participate in ongoing training and professional development, including bespoke specialist training in cannabis based medicines (CBMPs).What you need:Full
