Job Description SummaryThe Senior Deterministic Safety Analysis (DSA) Engineer position will make immediate contributions to the team responsible for BWRX-300 deterministic safety analyses. The DSA team is responsible for performing safety analysis in support of various applications for BWRX-300 transient analyses, thermal hydraulic analyses, containment analysis, and stability analysis.Job DescriptionThe individual will work within an energetic team environment to perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses to support a variety of applications encompassing BWRX-300 DSA . The position offers limitless opportunit ies to contribute to the fundamental bases of nuclear power plant operations and safety analysis by applying state-of-the-art thermal hydraulics methods to satisfy licensing requirements and solve real day - to - day plant problems. Essential Responsibilities: As the Senior Deterministic Safety Analysis Engineer, you will: Lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in the area of Anticipated Operational Occurrences, Anticipated Transients without Scram, Reactor Heat Balance, and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel Analyses.Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analyses. Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of BWR stability. Deliver products at a consistently high and sustainable level in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines.
