Job Description SummaryThe Power Transmission Key Account Manager position with Grid Solutions is a customer facing position responsible to manage the company's relationships with specific assigned key accounts.Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesAct as the key point of contact for relationships both internally and externally, from field personnel through to the executive team at key utility accounts in the territory.Serve as a conduit for detailed understanding of customer's business model and how GE's products and services deliver added value to the customer.Prospect, qualify and develop new sales leads on target market segments.Manage the relationship with the channel partners community and technical sales specialists to coordinate sales efforts.Track all sales activities in company CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and keep current by updating opportunity information regularly.Meet and/or exceed annual commercial order intake and margin targets.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree OR (High School Diploma or Equivalent with minimum 8 years in a direct sales, business development, field service/operation or commercial role in Industrial/utility/generation/renewable market).Minimum of 5 years of industry experienceAbility and willingness to travel approximately 20%-50%+ of the time as requiredDesired characteristicsEngineering DegreeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
