DescriptionJob DescriptionLeidos is seeking a summer intern with a Computer Science background to join our team in support of the SMIT contract, the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT), Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, the Leidos team will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network. The successful candidate will support Azure DevOps projects for the NMCI network.Primary ResponsibilitiesImplementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.Implementing and enforcing security measures within the development and deployment processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Ensuring consistency and stability in infrastructure and application configurations across different environments using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Participate in the planning of upgrades, replacement, configuration, and maintenance of servers/databases/toolsCollaborate with external customers, management, subcontractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplinesComply with ITSM processes and proceduresComply with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) governance and use MBSE toolsComply with Cybersecurity requirements within the DoDI 8500.01 and DON 5239Support the development and maintenance of processes, checklists, and proceduresBasic QualificationsEnrolled in a degree program as a Computer Science (or similar) major with graduation planned in late 2025 -2027GPA 3.0 or betterExperience with coding/programmingAbility to obtain a security clearanceUS citizenship requiredAbility to obtain Security+ (or other rele
