The Hospital Collections Representative is experienced and has consistently exceeded performance standards in the past. Hospital Collections Representative assists other staff when issues arise, provides on the job education to staff when needed, and works with the Supervisor Hospital Follow - Up and IT to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback for system improvement. This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 2 weeks of paid on-the-job training. The hours of training will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Patient Accounts - Unpaid Accounts Perform daily, systematic reviews of unpaid accounts for the appropriate government, managed care, or commercial source in the assigned accounts receivable, identifying the correct responsible party for any unpaid balances Patient Accounts - Payment Problems Contact identified payer sources to resolve problems or issues with payment release Patient Accounts - Payments / Complex Focus attention on payers with complex follow - up requirements, accounts with high dollar ba
