The Manager, Security is a highly trained professional who will provide coordination for Contracted Guard Force, Physical Security, Automated Access Control System, Intrusion Detection System, and CCTV Systems. This individual will have access to cutting-edge technology in order to provide the best possible protection for the employees and assets of SpaceX.  RESPONSIBILITIES:   Develop and communicate the overall strategy for site security, aligning it with SpaceX’s business objectives  Become the trusted security advisor to senior management and leaders across the organization through high-level communication and excellent briefing skills  Establish procedures and protocols to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps  Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; ensure that all team members understand and comply with those laws, regulations, policies and procedures  Identify, prioritize, develop, and implement security measures, emergency preparedness and response plans, and security protocols and strategies  Participate in local, state, and federal working or advisory groups to stay updated on security-related information  Maintain security equipment such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems  Assess systems, alarms, and other physical security measures for effectiveness  Make effective decisions in both routine and crisis situations  Take personal initiative in developing efficient work processes&n
