As part of the GE Vernova family, training and development, safety, and career progression lead our initiatives to provide opportunity and growth in all areas.Job DescriptionRole Summary/Purpose The Lead Wind Hub Technician is a critical and active role to maintain optimal function and output at the wind site by w orking daily on turbine operations, planning, required maintenance, safety, quality control , warranty rep air (s ) and customer service . The Lead Wind Technician partners and communicates with the Site Manager to execute on contract requirements and timelines and ensures alignment with GE excellence! The Wind Technician position requires local travel within the hub. Essential Responsibilities As the Lead Wind Hub Technician - Wind Hub Name, you will: Work with Hub Manager to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements and activities set forth with on a daily basis , which include any portion of the electrical and mechanical equipment used in the GE wind turbine generatorPerform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctionsTroubleshoot compl ex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch & variable speed turbinesSupport in all areas of site operations as directed by manager with minimal supervision including daily sche d ules and p la nning , supporting tech development, overall site leadership and customer servicePerform some diagnostic electrical analysisDocument all work performed using computer based service reporting proceduresWork with and respond to
