(Senior) Systems and Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

<p><strong>The</strong> <strong>Robotics and Mechatronics Teams at Agile Robots</strong> are looking for a <strong>(Senior) Systems and Safety Engineer (m/f/d)</strong>, who will own system-level engineering and functional safety for our robot. You'll decide whether a design is safe enough to ship, since missing a hazard here risks real injury.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Requirements Management:</strong> Elicit, write, review, and manage system, subsystem, and safety requirements with full traceability, keeping requirements, architecture, implementation, and verification artifacts linked across the system lifecycle.</li> <li><strong>System Architecture:</strong> Define, maintain, and review system and subsystem architecture, including interfaces, functional decomposition, and requirements allocation across the system.</li> <li><strong>Hazard & Safety Analysis:</strong> Perform hazard analysis, risk assessment, and failure analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, fault tree analysis where applicable), and define the safety concepts, safety functions, and fault reaction strategies that follow from it.</li> <li><strong>Certification Work Products:</strong> Develop and maintain the safety and systems engineering work products required for certification, including the safety plan, verification and validation plan, and system architecture documentation.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Team Coordination:</strong> Work across hardware, software, mechanical, and test teams to keep the system coherent, safety-compliant, and fully covered by traceable requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Background:</strong> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engine
