About the role: Every device Samsara ships, vehicle gateways, cameras, and sensors, must earn trust with regulators, auditors, and global fleets before it reaches the road. This role puts you at the center of that work, owning certification requirements that keep Samsara hardware operating. You will also support the compliance bar for Samsara original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnerships with major commercial vehicle manufacturers. This is a new seat inside the Samsara Security organization. You will help build the playbook, working closely with the Firmware, Hardware, and Platform Security teams to translate dense compliance requirements into requirements engineers can build against.
