The Scrum Master facilitates planning and delivery, removes impediments, supports transparent reporting and coaches the team towards sustainable continuous improvement.The role you will play:Create an effective delivery cadence and protect team focus.Connect team-level delivery with programme priorities, dependencies and release plans.Use evidence and facilitation to help the team improve flow, predictability and quality.Primary responsibilities:Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement.Work with business and technical leads to maintain a ready, prioritised and understood backlog.Track impediments, dependencies, risks and actions through to resolution.Support programme increment, release and cross-team planning where applicable.Use delivery metrics responsibly to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Coach team members and stakeholders in agile values, roles and effective collaboration.Support distributed teams and maintain inclusive, outcome-focused ceremonies.Promote continuous improvement without compromising delivery transparency.Required skills and capabilities:Scrum and agile deliveryFacilitation and team coachingBacklog refinement and sprint planningDependency and impediment managementAgile metrics, flow and reportingRelease and programme increment planningRetrospective design and continuous improvementJira, Confluence or equivalent toolingConflict resolution and stakeholder communicationValue-focused delivery practicesRequired experience:Scrum Master or agile delivery experience with multidisciplinary technology teams.Experience supporting product owners, analysts, engineers and testers through the delivery lifecycle.Experience working across virtual, distributed or multi-location teams.Evidence of improving team delivery
