We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected.About the RoleThe Logistics Officer owns the daily inbound and outbound logistics function across Harmattan AI’s two French sites — the Wissous production facility and the Paris engineering office. Reporting to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead, the role operates with significant autonomy: independently managing freight flows, customs compliance, dangerous goods, and international trade requirements without requiring hand-holding on routine decisions.This is not a pure execution role. The Logistics Officer brings senior operational experience and the judgement to run the function independently day-to-day — escalating where needed, but owning the full logistics picture between escalations. The right candidate has seen enough complexity — military goods, DG shipments, ITAR — to handle it confidently and knows when something requires attention from the Lead.ResponsibilitiesInbound LogisticsOwn inbound freight flows for both sites — booking, tracking, customs clearance, and goods receipt for components, materials, and equipmentProactively manage supplier and forwarder relationships to resolve delays and protect the Wissous production scheduleProcess import documentation, verify HS/CN classification, and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure clean clearanceEscalate supply disruptions and compliance flags to the Logistics & Warehouse Lead with structured context and a proposed resolutionOutbound LogisticsMan
