Business Development Manager for 765kv Portfolio

Job Description SummaryThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing 765kV business opportunities within the Power Transmission Portfolio of GE's Electrification business. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, understanding client needs, driving cross-product offerings and revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.Job Description Key Responsibilities: Market Analysis:Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients for 765kV portfolio (namely Power Transformers, Circuit breakers, Disconnect Switches, Instrument Transformers, Capacitor banks,etc) Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to inform business strategies.Identify and Analyze projects in the ISO pipeline and bring opportunities for review to Commercial Director for review.Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at utilities, developers and EPC's.Understand client needs, pain points, and strategic objectives to tailor solutions and proposals.Support needs and initiatives for existing customers on and as needed.Business Development:Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and outreach.Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to develop compelling value propositions and solutions.Driving external events, showcasing portfolio, road-shows for the full offerings under Power Transmission portfolio.Proposal Development:Prepare and present business proposals, including pricing strategies, service offerings, and value propositions.Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals and ensure client satisfaction.Sales Pipeline Support:Support the sales pipeline, track progress, and forecast revenue.Ensure timely follow-up and closure of deals.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with technical, product, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery of
