Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. This role works independently, prioritizing own responsibilities.National General is seeking an Inside Property Adjuster to join our Claims team! This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home while conducting occasional in-person inspections to evaluate homeowner property claims. Prior experience handling residential homeowner claims, with proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis, is highly preferred.Key Responsibilities For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome Demonstrates intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department Handles investigation regarding most aspects of homeowner first party claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills Demonstrates a basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company Learns how to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handleSupervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.Sign On Bonus: You may be eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign on Bonus if you have the applicable activ
