This position will be based in Seoul, South Korea and report to the Associate General Counsel, APAC. About the Role As the Legal Counsel for South Korea, you will be the primary legal anchor on the ground, serving as a trusted strategic partner to local business leadership while collaborating with APAC and global teams. Operating in one of our most dynamic and competitive markets, you will navigate complex, cutting-edge regulatory issues to protect Uber's interests, unlock business growth, and shape the future of mobility in Korea. WHAT YOU'LL DO Strategic Leadership & Advisory Executive Partnership: Act as the dedicated legal advisor to the South Korea General Manager and the local Leadership Team, translating ambitious business goals into legally sound, compliant strategies. Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify, evaluate, and manage legal risks across all operations, developing commercially focused, creative solutions that balance risk mitigation with strategic growth.
