The Business Development organization in Equinix leads our work to set/execute the strategic direction and capture deployments for these rich and valuable ecosystems. We are looking for a Director of Business Development to lead our Network & Content Provider team, cultivating an ecosystem that will drive success for the business now and into the future. This role covers Equinix Americas with a team and customers from Santiago to Calgary.The role marries a unique blend of leadership, industry expertise, strategic thinking, commercial skills and program delivery. The successful candidate will need to be able to work effectively with and influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders - both internal and external. You will need to set a clear vision for your team and deliver at scale across multiple strategic initiatives.The role holds primary accountability for the business development and long-term growth of our Network/Content ecosystem built on both Internet and private networking. A key element of this will be the growth of our rich portfolio of Interconnection services that are central to the value of Equinix.Responsibilities
