Senior Technical Claims Specialist, Construction Complex

Description Liberty Mutual's Specialized Claims group has an immediate opening on our Complex Construction Claims Team. We're seeking an experienced claims professional who thrives on challenging, high-exposure commercial casualty matters arising from construction operations - including complex Commercial General Liability (CGL) and Construction Injury/Liability claims (all litigated or high-exposure losses $500,000+). You will own matters end-to-end, managing coverage and liability strategy, directing investigations and experts, coordinating litigation and outside counsel, and driving timely, defensible resolutions for our Construction Industry accounts. (Note: this role does not handle construction defect claims.) This role is primarily remote, with a light-touch office cadence - just two in-office days per month for those who live within 50 miles of one of our hub locations in Boston, MA; Hoffman Estates, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Lake Oswego, OR; Las Vegas, NV; Plano, TX; Suwanee, GA; Chandler, AZ; and Weatogue, CT. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of complex, litigated construction-related losses ($500K+) from assignment through resolution: coverage analysis, liability assessment, investigation planning, reserving, negotiation, settlement or denial where appropriate. Lead coverage interpretation and a
