Duties: Check schedule to determine if scheduled maintenance is in order.  Determine if schedule can be adjusted or time permits for overhaul repair or re-adjustment required by the  equipment.     Check machines, analyze any and all types of mechanical or operational troubles and plan for and take corrective action.  Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Make change-over by setting up assigned equipment for change in material.  Operate equipment to try out change-over. Make repair or overhaul short of machining parts.
