An ideal candidate would have 7+ years' experience in building customer facing Identity Access Management solutions, as well as an advanced understanding of building 99.999 reliability in an AWS cloud environment. Responsibilities Software Architecture and DesignCollaborate on the design of a new IAM solution which integrates and coordinates with existing legacy systems to provide seamless customer migrationCreate reliable deployment topologies and software designs which satisfy the 99.999 needs of our customers and application partnersDevelopment/CodingAbility to create written documentation describing complex systems and interactions with existing componentsFocus on quality, with an emphasis on building solid unit testsUnderstanding of modern IAM constructs such as ABAC, RBAC, Federation / SSO, OpenId Connect, and authoring access policiesExperience in Clojure or other LISP based language nice to have, but not a hard requirement - ideal candidate would be able to learn Clojure quickly with help of LLMs and senior dev staffCustomer/Stakeholder EngagementExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to act as a consultant for internal and external stakeholders as they migrate to the new platform solutions, potentially updating external produ
