Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Senior Cytogenetics Technologist to join our team Remotely.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM ETJob ResponsibilitiesDetermine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteriaPerform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating ProceduresMonitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionalityDemonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controlsReport accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient carePerform and document preventive maintenance and quality control proceduresMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology4 years or more of cytogenetics testing experiencePreferred QualificationsCertified by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG)ASCP or AMT certificationAdditional Job StandardsIn lieu of education requirements listed above, non-tra
