We are looking for a seasoned Senior Lead Software Engineer specializing in Java and AWS technologies based out of our New York or New Jersey offices, supporting our current and Next Generation print platforms for our internal and external BRCC Customer Communication clients.Work Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be coming into the office 2 days a week andgiven the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern engineering practices.Design, develop, deploy, and support microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience containerizing services using Docker and deploying them across AWS and on-premise environments.Work closely with the product/business organization on strategic planning to define product roadmaps and align with technical roadmaps.Drive modernization of legacy applications toward microservices, APIs, containerization, and cloud-native platforms.Proactively look for opportunities to innovate, using AI tools and other methods to deliver software solutions quickly and with qualityProvide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers to promote best practices and continuous learning.Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software design, code quality, security, and Agile delivery.Improve CI/CD, testing automation, observability, and operational reliability.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience8+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership r
